The University of New Mexico may nominate candidates for recognition in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Nomination criteria include academic record, participation and leadership in academic and co-curricular activities, service to the community or University, and potential for future achievement.
Individuals who have previously received recognition in Who's Who and are seeking to be selected for a second year must exhibit a continued record of excellence and sufficient number of new or expanded accomplishments.
The university cannot release the names of the students who have been selected for recognition until official confirmation has been received from the Who's Who headquarters in Alabama. This does not occur until the end of January. Selected students will be recognized at a reception on February 17th, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the SUB Ballroom.
Students may apply directly or be nominated by another individual. There is no fee to apply or be recognized in Who's Who.
Click Here to go to the Who's Who Application. It is due by 5:00 pm on December 1st, 2014 to the Student Activities Center in SUB Room 1018. For more information about the award or any questions call 277-4706.
