Lobo's Got Talent - 7th Annual Talent Show

FINAL SHOW: November 14th, 7:00 pm - SUB Ballrooms

SUMMARY:
The 7th Annual Lobo's Got Talent showcases the great talents of our UNM Students!  All talents are welcome to audition.  From the auditions, 12-14 acts are selected for the finals.  The final show is sponsored by Lobo Village who provides $500 for 1st prize, $350 for 2nd prize, $150 for 3rd prize and $100 for the Audience Choice Award.

Join dozens of other student organizations in putting on UNM's oldest student-run campus tradition, Hanging of the Greens!
UNM Student Orgs will put out over 14,000 luminarias on December 5th and then the campus community will carol and tour the sites. Your student organization is encouraged to sign up to decorate a site.

Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges Applications

The University of New Mexico may nominate candidates for recognition in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.  Nomination criteria include academic record, participation and leadership in academic and co-curricular activities, service to the community or University, and potential for future achievement.

Individuals who have previously received recognition in Who's Who and are seeking to be selected for a second year must exhibit a continued record of excellence and sufficient number of new or expanded accomplishments.

The university cannot release the names of the students who have been selected for recognition until official confirmation has been received from the Who's Who headquarters in Alabama. This does not occur until the end of January. Selected students will be recognized at a reception on February 17th, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the SUB Ballroom.

Students may apply directly or be nominated by another individual. There is no fee to apply or be recognized in Who's Who.

UNM @ 125 will make its main campus premiere in the SUB Theater at 2:00 pm on November, 4th 2014.  Stop by for this hour long movie on the events, people and cultures that have shaped our wonderful University.  Filmmaker Arcie Chapa will be on hand to provide a quick introduction and a question and answer session at the conclusion of the movie.  Free popcorn and refreshments will be provided.  For more information, please contact the event sponsor - ASUNM Lobo Spirit Committee - at 277-0372.  Additional showings will be in the SUB Atrium at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm in the SUB Atrium on November 4th.
