2012-2013 Charter Workshops!
Every student organization must re-charter each fall semester, regardless of what point in the previous year they were chartered. This year's Early Charter Deadline is Friday, September 14th at 5:00 pm. Groups may still charter at any point throughout the year. All organizations must send one officer to a mandatory charter workshop but a second officer is suggested. If you are not sure about what workshop to attend, follow these tips or contact our office (277-4706):
RE-Charter Workshops:
These workshops are ONLY for groups who were chartered in the 2011-2012 school year.
New Student Organization Workshops:
These workshops are for new organization or groups who were NOT chartered for the 2011-2012 school year.

SGAO Workshops!
The Student Government Accounting Office (SGAO) will be hosting Financial Workshops for Chartered Student Organizations who have received budgets through either the ASUNM or GPSA 2012-2013 budget processes. You will receive a copy of you budget, sample internal requisition (IR) and helpful information on how to make the most of the funds you receive. Organizations must have 2 officers attend one of these workshops before your group may access their funds. This applies to officers who have attended workshops during previous years. Officers do not need to attend the same workshops. Graduate student organizations who receive PB funds do not need to attend these workshops, instead see the schedule of PB workshops below.

ASUNM Spring Budget Process Workshops
ASUNM 2012-2013 Fall Budget Process Workshops If your undergraduate student organization would like funding for the 2012-2013 school year and missed the spring budget process, this is your chance to apply. PB Fund Workshops!
These workshops are for graduate student groups receiving Pro-Rated Benefits (PB Funds). Basic Webpage Design
Forget complexities! When it comes to your organization, your webpage needs to please. This course is a surefire way to learn how to entice your audience and capture the essence of all ongoing activities. Design will be in Dreamweaver.
Budgeting Basics
Do you have money coming in and money going out, but still don’t know where it all goes? This is your chance to make some “cents” out of your organziation’s budget. You will learn how to use a basic spreadsheet to keep track of funds, develop a basic budget, and how to talk to your members about money.
Food Permits
When embarking on your own food sales or give-a-ways, obtaining permits is a must. You’re sure to have this sticky process in the bag after attending this course prepared specially by the State Health Inspector.
Leadership, the Zen Way
You have just spent four months leading your group through a productive semester, nailed down that winter break job, and finals are just around the corner...sounds like you may need to find some balance in your diet! By taking only sixty minutes of your hectic life you can learn to rebuild and rethink your strategies for managing stress and time. This course is sure to provide you with skills that will take you beyond Zen!
