Sunday, August 19th / UNM Class Crawl
Time: Right after Freshman Convocation (around 4) / Location: North SUB Mall

Come print out your class schedule and we'll help you find where your classes are on a campus tour. Look for us just north of the Student Union Building (north of Popejoy Hall) after the Freshman Convocation for a personalized campus tour! Sponsored by the Student Activities Center, Dean of Students Office and Residence Life.

Sunday, August 19th / Movie on the Field
Time: 8pm / Location: Johnson Field

Never seen a Drive-In Movie? Here's your chance! Stop by Johnson Field to see the big summer hit THE AVENGERS for FREE on a 30' tall screen! Bring a friend and a blanket to spread out on the field and we'll provide the popcorn.

Monday, August 20th
UNM President's Ice Cream Social

Start the week off right with FREE Ice Cream served to you by University VIPs at the Duck Pond bus stop south of University House! There will be information booths from the UNM Schools and Departments plus live music and ice cream by the Duck Pond from Noon - 1 pm.

Tuesday, August 21st
Safety, Health, Wellness & ROTC Day

Enjoy free massages, a climbing wall, pinatas and FREE Watermelon! Booths from the Safety, Health, Wellness and Recreation departments will be at the Duck Pond. ROTC booths will be located on the SUB Mall. Great Live Music and healthy food from Noon - 1 p.m. FREE MOVIE - THE AVENGERS - SUB Theater at 8:00 pm.



Wednesday, August 22nd
Women's and Cultural Day

Information about all of the ethnic, cultural & women's center programs and departments. Cultural entertainment will run throughout the day by the Duck Pond. Look for UNM museums and student art displays as well. Enjoy a long standing tradition of Welcome Back Days - free green chile stew! FREE MOVIE - THE AVENGERS - SUB Theater at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

 

Wednesday, August 22nd - **NEW DAY OF THE WEEK**
North Campus Welcome Back Day

North campus will celebrate its Welcome Back Day in the plaza area in the Health Sciences Complex from 11:30 - 1:30 with great information booths, free hotdogs, free Pepsi and great music.


Thursday, August 23rd
Student Organization Day

Meet student leaders from around campus and learn how to get involved with the over 400 student organizations on campus.. Listen to great live music at the Duck Pond from 12 - 1 p.m. while ASUNM leaders serve free pizza and Pepsi. FREE MOVIE - THE AVENGERS - SUB Theater at 3:30 pm.

 

Friday, August 24th
Community Service & Employment Day

Looking for a job? Interested in helping out in the community? Stop by! University departments looking to hire students will be set up at an On-Campus Jobs Fair north of Ortega hall from 10 am - 2 pm. They will have information about their workstudy and student employment positions. Community organizations will be recruiting volunteers for their worth while events and causes. Alumni will serve free hotdogs & Pepsi. Enjoy more live music from great local bands from Noon - 1 pm.

FREE Music and Food runs daily from Noon - 1 pm
Information Booths run from 9 am - 3 pm
